3 Easy Healthy Homemade Salad Dressing Recipes

    Hey health nuts, welcome back to Health Nut Kitchen.

    To continue with the detox theme, I thought I would share with you guys, three detox salad dressings. I almost got tongue-tied there, but anyways, these are really fun salad dressings that I’ve kind of created over the last few months, and I’ve just been writing them down because I knew I had to share them with you guys.

    I love creating salad dressings out of like fresh ingredients and things that are in my cupboard and fridge, and trying to stay away from those store-bought dressings.

    I find when you make them at home they usually have less salt, less oil, no sugar, or like real sugar, like honey and maple syrup. And you can just feel good about slathering your greens with salad dressing. So for today’s video, I have three delicious flavors here.

    I made an extra batch of this one here because I was using it for something else. But all three of them are really really good. I hope you guys like them, and let’s just hop right in.

    The first salad dressing we’re going to make is my red pepper miso dressing.

    For this dressing, you will need water, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, tamari, you can also use soy sauce, raw cashews, you don’t have to soak these if you have a high-speed blender, the miso paste red pepper, green onion, garlic, and then some sea salt and black pepper.

    Blend it real good until everything is nice and smooth. And then this is what it should look like. Add this into a handy dandy little mason jar.

    Store it in the fridge, and you can keep this in the fridge for like three to five days until you’re ready to use it. It’s delicious on like anything. You can put this on Buddha bowls, salads, drink it straight, because it’s that good.

    And that’s how you make my red pepper miso dressing.

    Next up we have my creamy lemon ginger dressing.

    You will need some water, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, honey, raw tahini, turmeric, you can either use fresh turmeric root or the powder, ginger, and then a little bit of sea salt.

    Blend it up until everything is smooth and creamy. I love this dressing. It has such a unique flavor to it. I highly recommend it with either fish or like an Asian type of salad. Throw this into a salad container, and just pop it in the fridge, and this will also last three to five days until you’re ready to use it.

    And there you have it, my creamy lemon ginger salad dressing.

    Last but not least, we have my cilantro hemp dressing.

    In a high-speed blender, you’re gonna add in some water, olive oil, grainy Dijon mustard, garlic, lots of it, raw hemp hearts, lemon juice, fresh cilantro, you can also use parsley if cilantro ain’t your thing, and then some sea salt and black pepper.

    You’ll also need some apple cider vinegar, which I forgot to show, but add that in and then blend it all up until creamy smooth. Pop this into your salad jar, and store it in the fridge until ready to use. This is just great on everything. I love the garlic and cilantro flavor to this creamy dressing, it’s amazing.

    And that’s how you make my cilantro hemp dressing.

    All three of these salad dressings are super creamy and made with real, wholesome foods that I know you guys are gonna love.
